Cover your work area with wax paper to help protect it from the resin that will stick to it (and everything!).

The box of casting epoxy has two bottles in it, one with resin and one with hardener. It also includes a sheet of very detailed instructions along with suggested techniques and a trouble shooting section.

Measure out equal amounts from both bottles into a small cup. I used an old coffee scoop I found in my junk drawer and added two scoops of each ingredient into the cup. (Just remember you'll want to use something to measure with that you don't plan to use again for food items).

Now stir and stir and stir for about two minutes. Then, according to the directions on my epoxy box, it said to pour the cup of resin into another cup, use a new stir stick, and continue to mix for another minute.
