What Are Wire Clamps?

Wire clamps are tools used to secure items such as wire. They have rubber on them so they will not put marks on the wire.

How Are Wire Clamps Used?

It is nice to have two of these and are indispensable when trying to fit wire together before wrapping it. Sometimes you need three hands when working with wire, so these are the next best thing to having that extra hand available.

Where Can You Purchase Wire Clamps?

I got my clamps from a flea market vendor for $1.50 each, so most places that sell general tools will carry something like these since they aren't specifically used just for jewelry making. You can also use paper binding clips available at most office supply stores. Just make sure you cover the inside of the binder clips with something like a soft cloth so you don't scratch up your wire.
