1. Take your blank, and place it on top of the piece of scrap paper so the bail is down and the smooth part is facing up.

2. Press your stamp against the pigment ink stamp. For lighter colors of glass such as blue or pink, black ink works the best. For darker colors, you could use white ink.

3. Now stamp the design onto your blank. If it’s not in the spot you like, for example if you want it centered onto the blank, use a paper towel and wipe it off, and repeat steps 2 and 3 until it is where you want it. Unlike paper, you can fix your mistakes on glass very easily.

4. Now for the messy part. Sprinkle your embossing powder over the design so that you completely cover it up. I like to use crystal clear or clear iridescent over black.

5. Next, dump the powder that’s on the pendant onto the scrap paper. You want to get as much of the powder off the pendant without smearing your stamped image. Tap the pendant to help get the powder off, and if necessary, use a Q tip to rub some of the powder off the pendant that doesn’t have ink on it.

6. Return all the powder that is on your scrap paper to the container of powder since it is reusable, and place the glass bank back on top of the scrap paper.
