5. Now cut some of your shelf paper into small strips about 1 1/2 inches long and 1/8 inch wide.

Note: Shelf paper is used when making fused glass because the glass won't stick to it when heating in the kiln. You can find shelf paper available from vendors who sell kilns and other glass hobby supplies.

6. Place the strips of shelf paper onto the pendant 1/4 - 1/2 inch from the top.

7. Add a little glue to one end of a soon to be bail.
