The extra hemp on either end of the necklace work as your clasp. Just tie them into a bow or other knot when you put it around your neck.
Though the beads are fairly large, some as large as 15mm, they are very light-weight and comfortable to wear. The addition of the copper clay heart pendant makes this a truly unique mixed-media piece, but you could add any number of different pendants to the center of the bamboo beads.
