Fiber, Bead, and Copper Metal Earrings

Fiber, Bead, and Copper Metal Earrings

Tammy Powley
These earrings include a unique mix of materials including metal, wire, fiber, and beads. All of the components, except for the beads, I made myself, which is great to be able to do. However, when considering this design for yourself, remember that you can make a similar pair using pre-fabricated components if you aren't up to make all of the pieces yourself.

To make these earrings, you will need the following:

2 Copper leaf charms
6 - 1 foot Pieces of black waxed linen cord
*2 - 12x7mm Bamboo beads
*2 - 8mm Bamboo beads
6 inches of 21-gauge Dead-soft round copper wire
1 Pair of copper ear hooks
Scissors
Cord bulletin board
Straight pins
Wire cutters
Chain-nosed pliers
Round-nosed pliers

*The bamboo beads came from Rings & Things item #29-919-00.
