CD Earrings

Cut a CD to create an earring component

Tammy Powley
Typical pack rat that I am, I started collecting old CDs with the idea of making something with them. I think the silver back of the CDs are very pretty, and many have cool designs on the front too. I’ve seen people make very nice Christmas ornaments out of them. But, of course, I decided to make some jewelry. These CD earrings are pretty basic, but I think a lot more could be done with them.

You’ll need the following:

1 CD
Pencil
Ruler Very, very sharp scissors (metal cutters work best)
Files
E6000 glue
Flat earring post and clutch back
