Keep Ribbon from Fraying

5. With scissors, trim off ribbon so you have about 1/2 on either side of the knot.

6. I like to use a lighted match and run it over the ends of the ribbon very quickly to keep the ribbon from fraying, but you can also use various products available at most craft stores to do this as well. You just need to allow time for them to dry usually depending on the manufacturer’s instructions.
