Felt and Chain Necklace

By , About.com Guide

1 of 7

Introduction and Materials List

Two elements that seem like total opposites when it comes to jewelry making – fiber and metal – make up this unusual necklace. I can picture this worn with a soft bulky sweater. The materials for this mixed media style necklace came from Ornametea.com.

You’ll need:

2 ½ feet of large chain link
2 (approx. 6 feet) meters of felt rope
Ruler
Scissors

Note on chain: Each link in this chain is approximately 1 inch long.
