Make another overhand knot just past this one (not one on top of the other this time).
Now take the tail and the working hemp cord, and make a simple square knot. Keep making square knots down the hemp until you have only a little bit of hemp tail left.
Use scissors to trim off this tail of hemp.
You are now down with one side of the toggle clasp.
