Then make an overhand knot to secure all the pieces together just past the loop. (You'll have a lot of different lengths of hemp at this point.)
Tie a second overhand knot just past the first, and then finish off the hemp ends with square knots until you have a bunch of small piece of hemp left.
Use your scissors to trim off excess pieces of hemp.
You are done!
