Raku Bead and Hemp Necklace Tutorial

When you think of "raku," often it is connect to pottery, but the basic process of raku can also be used with lampwork bead. The result is an unusual pattern affect, and to me they tent to look like something you might dig out of the earth. That inspired me to make this necklace which has the earthy flavor of the hemp as a stringing medium but the classy touch of lampwork and metal beads. It is finished off with a metal button that I used along with more help to create a fiber and metal toggle clasp.
