5. Get a trash can. Either have a small trash can next to the chair you’ll be sitting in or set a small bag for garbage on top of your work surface. For either one you choose, make sure you don’t have to reach far to get to it.

4. Set out your tools. You’ll need a pair of wire cutters, round nosed pliers, and either bent or flat nosed pliers. I’m right handed, so I set each tool to the right of my work area and within easy reach.
