6. Determine the middle of one of the 3/4 inch pieces. (My chain worked out that 11 links equaled about 3/4 inches. Your chain may vary.) Slip the open loops of a tear drop piece made in step 6 onto the middle link of a 3/4 inch piece of chain.
7. Use chain-nosed pliers to close the loops around the links.
