Here is a list of small business reference books. Many of them are helpful if you want to do some research about starting your own jewelry business or if you want help with your current jewelry business. They are available from most book store chains, and you can probably also find copies from your local library.

Crafting as a Business by Wendy Rosen - How do you decide what to charge for your creations? Should you sell wholesale or retail? How do you get into galleries? Should you do a trade show? Lots of questions about the business side of crafts are answered in this book.

Working from Home by Paul & Sarah Edwards - This is just a handy all around reference books that discusses the pluses and minuses of working from home.

How to Sell What You Make: The Business of Marketing Crafts by Paul Gerhards - The title of this book is basically self explanatory. It’s a small book, but it’s nice that it deals specifically with crafts.

Home Made Money by Barbara Brabec - This author is a well known authority of how to sell arts and crafts. She has written a number of a books about this subject. This particular book is full of information any home based business owner could use such as legal issues, marketing, and selling.
