Diva Dangle Earrings

Introduction & Materials

You will so feel like a diva when wearing these chandelier style earrings. Who wouldn’t? They are definitely a statement, but also fun with loads and loads of dangling crystals.

While the techniques are pretty easy, I will warn you that this is not an immediate gratification type of project, merely because you have to make so many dangles for these earrings, a total of 52 to be exact. But they are well worth it when you see the results. The first day I wore them, I had at least a half dozen people rave about them.

To make a pair, you’ll need:

*2 - 28mm/18mm double hoop silver plated components
2 – clear aurora borealis (AB) 6x8mm teardrop beads
26 – 4mm Swarovski Montana AB crystal beads
22 – 4mm Swarovski clear AB crystal beads
52 – head pins (silver or silver plated)
2 – ear hooks (silver or silver plated)
Round-nosed pliers
Flat-nosed pliers
Wire cutters

*The hoop components for this project (pictured above) came from Fire Mountain Gems and Beads, catalog number D01-6520FD, who also carry all the other findings and beads you would need for this project.
