Nicole Chandelier Earrings

Tammy Powley
After making a pair of chandelier earrings using a stamped component that I purchased, I thought it was time to try to make another pair and create my own component that would be the centerpiece of my design. As usual, I turned to wire to help me do this. I also used some of my favorite techniques including the wrapped looped, four loop wire component, and triple loop technique. While these don't rival the beautiful jewelry Nicole Kidman is so well known for wearing, they remind me of her, thus the name.

To make these, you'll need:

6 - 4mm crystals
16 inches of 24 gauge gold-filled round wire
2 gold-filled ear hooks
Wire cutters
Round-nosed pliers
Chain-nosed pliers
*Nylon-nosed pliers

*Note: I like to use the nylon-nosed pliers to flatten out the flower component after I've made it.
