8. Now, use the eye pins to add a bead on the ends of both of the 1 1/2 inch pieces of chain, and the 4 1/2 inch pieces are added to the opposite ends of the beads.

9. Next, add a jump ring onto the end of the middle 2 inch piece of chain that looks like the person’s leg, and slip on another 2 inch piece of chain. Don’t close the ring yet.

10. This part is tricky. You now have an outside chain made up of 3 pieces connected together, and an inside chain made up 2 of pieces. Line up the outside and inside chains. (The outside piece is a few inches longer than the inside.) Select a link in the outside chain and insert the open jump ring onto this link in order that the outside and inside chains now meet.
