The finished necklace is about 28 inches long, so you can slip it over your head. No clasp is required. You can also wear this a few different ways. You can wear it so that the l6mm beads are in the center and the chain is behind your neck, or you can wear it off center a little with the chain mirroring the 16mm beads and some of the 10mm beads placed in the center of the necklace.
