You can do wrap the headpin closed by either keeping the round-nosed pliers inside of the loop as you wrap with chain-nosed pliers, or use an extra pair of chain or bent-nosed pliers to hold the wire loop flat as you wrap the wire with another pair of chain-nosed pliers. Both methods work equally well.
