Chain & Bead Elegant Necklace

Chain & Bead Elegant Necklace

Tammy Powley
Here is the toned-down version of the necklace that I designed. As you can see, I use a lot of the same design elements like teardrop shaped beads and the use of black chain, findings, and crystal beads for that Victorian-style that is so great for jewelry.

To make one, you’ll need:

About 18 inches of gun metal chain
1 clasp
4 jump rings
12 - 4mm crystal beads
3 small tear drop crystal beads
12 eye pins
3 head pins (or more eye pins*)
Wire cutters
Round-nosed pliers
Chain-nosed pliers

*I didn’t have any gun metal colored head pins, so I used eye pins and squished (notice this highly technical term) the ends flat when I used them with the tear drop beads.
