No Brainer Gold Pendant

I’ve discovered this gold pendant that anyone can make. I don’t care if you’ve never strung a bead or turned on a torch, you can make this pendant quickly, and you’ll love it. I know I love mine.

To make one, you’ll need:

gold coin
gold bezel
1.4mm screw driver
polishing cloth

Before starting, you need to know where to get the bezel and coins. Though there are all kinds of companies that sell both, I know of two that both carry the coins and the bezels.
  • Affordable Jewelry & Precious Metals
  • Coast to Coast Coins - 1-800-638-8869
  • Wherever you purchase the bezel and coin, you will need to make sure that the coin fits into the bezel. So, if you buy them separately, make sure you double check with the company you buy the bezel from that the bezel is the correct size. The coin and bezel pictured were purchased from Coast to Coast. The coin is a one fifth ounce gold coin from the Isle of Man entitled "Cat." Their cat coin designs change each year.

Once you get your chosen coin and bezel, follow these steps to assemble them.

    1. Slip your coin into your bezel.

    2. Make sure your coin is positioned correctly in the bezel so that the top of your coin is at the top. You don’t want your coin to be upside down.

    3. Use your screw driver tighten the tiny screw that is at the top of the bezel.

    4. Use a polishing cloth to polish up your pendant and remove the oil from your fingers.

That’s it! I told you it was a no brainer. Though I’m partial to my cat coin, you can get gold coins from countries all over the world. Each coin is a little work of art, and a variety of designs are available.
