Czech Flower Necklace

If you like chokers and Czech beads, then you’ll enjoy making this simple flower design necklace. These work up very quickly, and depending on the color of beads and cord, you can create an infinite combination of colors.

To make one you’ll need:

Size 4 black nylon cord with attached thread
2 bead tips
1 jump ring
1 spring ring
20 4mm Jet Black Czech beads
corsage pin
scissors
glue or clear nail polish
flat/bent nosed pliers
round nosed pliers
ruler

1. Start by pulling off the cord from the card. Though the bends in the cord will eventually fall out, you can get rid of them quickly by ironing it on a low temperature.

2. Tie a few over hand knots on the end of the cord, and trim off excess cord.

3. Dab some glue or clear polish on the knot to help keep it closed.

4. Slip on a bead tip, and use flat nosed pliers to close the cup of the bead tip around the knot.

5. Measure approx. 2 ½ inches down the cord, and tie an over hand knot.

6. Slip on 4 Czech beads so they are up against the knot.

7. Now insert the needle back through the first Czech bead that is up against the knot.

8. Pull the cord to form the beads into a loop.
