Updated Classic Pearl Earrings

Pearls are always considered a classic form of jewelry, and with these sterling findings from APAC Tool Company (available from John Mathieu at Jewelrythings, Inc.) and these beautiful freshwater pearls from Fire Mountain Gems I created a classic yet updated combination.

To make these earrings, you'll need:

2 Eurowires
4 Ornamental head pins
2 - triple loop components
12 - 3-4mm freshwater pearls
Round-nosed pliers
Flat-nosed pliers

1. Begin by adding three pearls onto one head pin, and then use your round nosed pliers to make a simple loop at the top, making sure not to close the loop all the way yet.

2. Repeat the step above, and then attach both pearl head pins to the two outside loops on one of your triple loop components.

3. Use flat-nosed (or bent-nosed) pliers to gentle close the simple loops of your head pins around the loops on the component piece.

4. Now add a Eurowire to the component piece.

5. Repeat all the steps above for a matching earring.
