Flower & Bead Bracelet

I created this bracelet to go with my Heart Throb necklace. It's a combination of carnelian and jasper beads along with wire flowers. You just need to know some basic beading techniques as well as a little wire twisting to create this jewelry piece.

You will need the following:

7 wire flowers
3 - 6mm carnelian beads
3 - 6mm poppy jasper beads
1 spring ring clasp
approx. 12 inches of 20 gauge round sterling wire
round-nosed pliers
flat or bent-nosed pliers
wire cutters
jeweler's file

1. Start with creating your wire flowers using the instructions I have previously posted (also referred to as my clover in some of my projects).

2. When you make your 7th flower (the last one you'll need), attach the spring ring clasp to one of the petals before closing the petal.

3. Now use your 20 gauge wire to make a wrap loop attaching it to the opposite end of your 7th flower before closing up the loop.

4. Slip on one carnelian bead, and start the wrap loop on the other side of the bead. However, before closing up the wrap, slip on one of the other flowers made in step 1.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 but instead use a poppy jasper bead instead of a carnelian bead.

6. Continue these steps alternating with a flower, a carnelian wrap, a flower, and a poppy jasper wrap until you finish the bracelet with your last wire flower.

7. To connect your bracelet, slip one of the petals of the last wire flower onto your spring ring clasp.
