The first two projects illustrate how to use bracelet sized memory wire and beads to make some clever shower curtain rings and to decorate a towel in your bathroom. Then five projects describe how to make jewelry, including some of those popular triple strand designs used for chokers and cuff bracelets that use spacer bars to separate the three strands of memory wire. After the jewelry section, six projects provide some of the usual, such as wine glass charms, and the unusual, such as napkin rings, which you can use to decorate your table. Next are a few projects for using ring and bracelet size memory wire to create candle wraps and then a few other projects explain how to make a curtain tie-back and sun catcher. Finally, there are four holiday ornament projects.
Each project includes a list of supplies along with step-by-step instructions. While all the projects list specific beads to use, for the more experienced jewelry maker, you could use the projects as a way to get started and change the type of beads used and thus change the look of the finished piece as well. Beginners often feel safer following instructions more closely, so they will find these projects to be easy to follow, and as many of us know, one of the big pluses of memory wire is that it's perfect for those "instant gratification" projects.
If you are a memory wire lover already, you'll find this as a nice, little "idea book." If you are new to memory wire, this is a good book to help you get started. Check your local bead stores (on and off line) for this book as well as supplies and tools you'll need for the projects inside.
