By adding small loops on either side of the bag, you allow an area for the amulet hooks to be secured onto. This is necessary if you want to create a detachable strap. Do this by going through one of the rungs (again leave a tail and weave as before). Then tie a small over hand knot around one of the loops between the rung. String on some seed beads. About 12 beads work well for size 11s. Go down through the ladder rung opposite and then back up the first rung you went into so you can go through the beads again.

This will strengthen the loops. Finish by tying a small knot and weaving in the threads down through the bag before clipping it off.

Now you can make the strap.
