Wire Clover with Bead

This is a pretty way to set off a glass bead. You can form a three leaf clover free hand, slip on the beads, and then end with a second free hand clover, or you can use a jig.

To use a jig, follow the basic steps as described in the jig clover project. However, instead of four pegs, you’ll only need three arranged in a pyramid shape (as in the make a jig project).

After wrapping around the pegs to form a clover, take the clover off the jig.

Next slip on a bead.

Then hold the wire and bead flat against the jig, repeat the steps to make three more loops on the other end.

Use these as components for necklaces or bracelets, or just add an ear hook to make into earrings.
