Just as with my filigree star ornament project, you can use your jewelry making skills and a few supplies to quickly make this cross ornament. While this ornament takes a little more wire and a few more wraps, essentially, the concept is the same.
You'll need:
1 filigree cross ornament
copper wire
1 lampwork bead
four 4mm beads
wire cutters
round nosed pliers

2. You'll notice that my filigree piece as two holes at the top. (As with the star, this filigree piece is available from Guyot). So, a wrap loop will need to be added to connect to each of the holes at the top of the cross. This must be done with the two pieces of 3 inch wire.
3. Then, while holding the wires together, slip one 4mm bead, one lampwork bead (Of course, I got the bead from D.D. Hess), and another 4mm bead onto both the wires.
4. Now, continue to hold the wires together and make one wrapped loop with both wires together. Since I used 22 gauge wire, this was very easy to do.
5. Finish off by attaching 4mm beads to the bottom of the cross, and curl the ends of the wire to keep the bead on.
A little red ribbon can be added so this can be dangled from your tree.
