Chandelier Earrings

If you haven't heard about chandelier earrings, then you've been living under a rock. These aren't really that new, though, because basically chandelier earrings are large dangling earrings that often include crystal beads. The variety of design possibilities is just about endless.

To make these chandelier earrings, you'll need the following:

*Stamped triangle shaped component
6 clear AB crystal drop beads
2 light blue crystal drop beads
6 head pins
2 eye pins
2 ear hooks
round nosed pliers
flat nosed pliers
wire cutters

*The stamped components in these earrings are from Guyot (number 07468) and are available in brass and silver. Notice that there is one hole on one side and three on the other side of this component.

1. Begin by sliding two clear and one blue teardrop bead onto three headpins.

2. Trim your head pins if necessary and create a simple loop on the end of each head pin.

3. Add the three pieces in the previous step to the three loops on one end of the brass component.

4. Now open the loop on your eye pin and add it to the other hole on the opposite side of the component.

5. Slip on another clear crystal bead.

6. Trim the eye pin if necessary and add another simple loop.

7. Attach this to your ear hook.

8. Repeat the above steps to create another matching earring.
