Lovely Flower Earrings

I was inspired to create these earrings after being invited to a Valentine's tea party. I wanted some special earrings that combined the idea of love and femininity, so the flower crystal and lampwork beads combined with hearts seemed to be a perfect match.

Note on Supplies:
While you can probably find similar beads and charms to create these earrings, I found the flower crystal beads at Tanaka Beads, D.D. Hess made the lampwork beads, and the heart charms are from Guyot.

You'll need:
2 small lampwork beads
4 flower crystal beads
2 aventurine heart beads
2 heart charms
2 ear hooks
2 - 2 inch eye pins
round nosed pliers
flat/bent nosed pliers

1. Start by using your round nosed pliers to open the loop on an eye pin, slip a heart charm onto the loop, and use flat nosed pliers to close the loop up.

2. Slip on 1 flower crystal, 1 lampwork bead, 1 flower crystal, and 1 aventurine heart.

3. Use round nosed pliers to create a loop on the end of the eye pin.

4. Attach an ear hook to the loop, and use flat nosed pliers to close the loop around the hear hook.

5. Repeat the steps above to make a second earring.

Hearts and flowers are always a great combination in jewelry any time of the year. So, get some of your own hearts and flower beads in order to make your own love inspired jewelry.
