How to Incorporate Fused Glass Pieces

Many of us admire fused glass, but what do you do with it? There are various steps you can take to incorporate fused glass into your jewelry.

Difficulty Level: easy      Time Required: 10 minutes - 1 hour

Here's How:
  1. Invest in some findings, such as pin backs and bales, which can be glued on to the back of fused pieces.
  2. For fused glass pendants, use them as center pieces for special necklaces.
  3. Glue glass cabs onto fusable webbing and bead around to make pendants or brooches.
  4. For fused pieces with holes, use wire to create a bale.
  5. Wrap a glass cab just as you would a stone cab.
Tips:
  1. Look for ideas other jewelry makers have used to incorporate glass into their jewelry.
  2. Ask the glass artist who made the piece for ideas.
