Learn the techniques of Native American jewelry artists with this well illustrated, full-color book, Indian Jewelry Making Volume I by O.T. Branson. Projects are shown step by step. This book also includes information about tools and equipment used as well as a little history too. My only warning is that this is not necessarily geared for a total beginner to use, so you need some basic fabrication and soldering knowledge before attempting any of the projects because the basics are not really broken down very much. However, if you do have some minimal metal background, that's really all you need to get started with this book.

Cons: Not necessarily for beginners; Limited textual information; Knowledge of basic metal work necessary
