Gift Ideas for Dad
Nothing means more to dad than a hand made gift from you. So, why not give him a gift you create yourself. Here are a few ideas.

Chains:

If your dad likes jewelry, then consider making him a cool sterling chain. We’ve already talked about a number of chains on this site including the Spanish Style, Wrap Chain, and Figure 8. To make any chain more masculine, consider using thicker gage wire such as 16 or 14 gage.

Key Fob:

Use silver wire and make him a unqiuekey fob. Dangle a silver charm or fused glass piece or whatever you like from the chain.

Money Clip:

I purchased this money clip for only .50 cents. It’s made of base metal. A cab could be soldered onto the top to jazz it up. If you have kids, they could use some good glue (like E6000) and attach a cab or other polished stones to it. Another idea would be to use a ball peen hammer to add a hammered texture to the clip.

Tie Slide:

Just as with the clip, a small stone could be added as a bezel to this slide. Also, a charm could be soldered onto it. Again, kids could glue small stone onto this slide.
