Beaded Phoenix
Rosanne Andreas of the Beaded Phoenix has a new update to her popular poster set, which includes an 11 x 17 inch laminated bead stringing reference poster and beading tips brochure. This set is great for the beginning jewelry maker, but it is also helpful for old timers too because it offers a quick reference source. Hang it on the wall next to your jewelry bench, or if you sell supplies, keep it handy to assist customers when selecting beads and stringing supplies. If you teach jewelry classes, which by the way became the inspiration for Rosanne’s product, bring this set with you to help instruct your students.

Here’s some of the information included on the poster:

~ Round bead sizes in millimeters to help you visual the size of a bead before you buy or figure out the size of a bead you have already.

~ Oval cabochon sizes in millimeters and also bugle beads.

~ Measurements and weights of supplies such as 1 gross equals 144 pieces, 12 dozen, or 72 pair; 1 mass equals 1,200 pieces or 100 dozen. This is very helpful when you’re ordering supplies.

~ Wire sizes and illustrations along with basic description and bead sizes that fit.

~ Formula for figuring out the number of beads you need depending on the length of a piece you plan to make.

The portable brochure includes some of the following:

~ Explanation of gemstone treatments.
~ Tips for selecting stringing materials.
~ Memory wire information.

This set sells for a little over $20 (including shipping) and would make a good gift for a fellow beader or yourself of course too.You can find more information about how to order this set as well as wholesale inquires on the Beaded Phoenix website.
