Things are heating up in most places around the world, which means summer time! Since I work as a teacher for my "real" job, I really look forward to the few weeks I get off during the summer. By the end of the semester, I'm pretty pooped. Of course, my summer vacations tend to be the working type with lots of projects around the house to accomplish (like digging out that spare room from all the "stuff" in there!), writing work to do, and of course, jewelry making and other behind the scenes work on this site. Still, it's nice to have a less structure schedule even if my "to do" list is a few miles long.
Even if you don't get the luxury of a summer vacation, most places start slowing down during the summer, and that may leave you a little extra time. The About.com Hobby Guides got together and came up with 12 Ways to Have Beach Fun With Your Hobby or Pastime. Hopefully, you can find some time to enjoy yourself a little this summer with your own hobby or even try out a new one.
