Make Knitted Wire Jewelry

Even if you have never knitted anything before, you will be amazed at how easy it is to learn how to use one of these knitting spools to knit wire. Then you can use it for unique jewelry creations. Soft Flex has 3, 4, and 5 pin spools available, and each comes with the stylus to help you pull the wire around the pins.

Sara Hardin has a free project using this tool as well as some colored beading wire that is finished off with sterling cones and a toggle clasp for a great bracelet look. There is also a bracelet project posted by Jamie Hogsett where she creates a cage-style design by putting beads inside of the knitted wire.

It can take a little time to get used to using the tool, but as I said, you don't have to have any knitting experience to master it. After playing around with it myself, I came up with a list of tips that you might find helpfu.
