Betterfly.com is a relatively new web site that offers portals for people looking to get the word out about specialized services they provide as well as people who are looking for these services. For example, there is a section for beading and jewelry where you can look for a jewelry instructor or someone to make a specific jewelry piece for you, or on the flip side, if you are an instructor and/or designer, you can advertise there for free. Each "betterist" (as they are called) receives a page on the Betterfly.com site where he or she can list classes or other services available such as metal clay classes or jewelry parties or custom jewelry designs. You can sign up to be a betterist for free and use the company's on-line tools to set up your page.
I am playing around with a page myself right now, and so far, I'm finding it so-so to get around. It looks like there is still some growing that this site needs to do. For example, I wanted to set up a page about me as a craft writer and designer, but there are no sections like that. When I try to suggest it as a category, I was going around and around because it kept trying to make me pick a topic that is similar, which the whole reason I was suggesting a topic was because there isn't one! Kind of crazy!
However, if your services fit into what is already listed on the site, it should be pretty easy to set up your page. Plus, you can list times you are available and accept payment through the site.
