Freebie Sites to Sell Crafts

By , About.com Guide   June 23, 2010

Follow me on:

I recently posted some tips for selling jewelry on-line. Since then, I have discovered some sites that you can not only sell your hand-crafted jewelry, or other hand-crafted items or vintage finds, but they are free, as in no listing fee and no fees when you sell. Now, of course, that doesn't count the PayPal fees, just these particular sites do not charge for you to use their services to sell through.

I literally just found about about these and have not indulged myself but have clicked around just to check them out. I suggest you do the same before diving in, but hey, free is a good thing I think. Here they are in no particular order:

http://efreeme.com/

http://www.bonanzle.com/

http://www.bixbe.com/

If you have any information about these sites or personal experiences, please share them in the comments sections.

ShopHandmade.com is a free site for selling handmade items. I sell some jewelry there and it goes SUPER smoothly.

I have things posted on http://www.undertherainbow.us
It has a minimal fee for joining, but doesn’t charge consignment type fees.

Thank you Tammy.
Ebay (in Australia at least) has lately been ‘bombed’ with Sellers from China & Hong Kong. It’s very hard to sift through to find anything local or truely handmade.
