Share Your Jewelry Work Space

I spent a good part of last summer reorganizing and consolidating my jewelry work space. It was a lot of hard work, and I can't say that it stays neat and perfect all the time, but it was time well spent. I ended up writing an article as well concerning Jewelry Studio Organization Tips.

Now, I'm turning the spot light on you, my readers, and asking that you share as well. Have you carved out a designated work area in your home or even have a studio where you are free to create? If so, Share Your Story: Creating Your Work Space, by participating in a new show and tell feature of this site that allows you to upload a photo or two of where you work and asks you some questions about how you decided to get organized. I'm sure you have some great ideas to share with other jewelry designers and crafters.

This week, I'll be posting a number of blog entries encouraging you to share. Check for them daily and show and tell us about your jewelry making experiences.

I have a room that doubles as an office and finally hung shelves above my jewelry work bench and it is working out great. I always wrestle with how to organize the beads — by color, by composition, by style? What do you recommend?
