My mom has started to make jewelry, and she has gotten to the point that she realizes the local craft store just doesn't have everything she needs. While she is computer savvy to a certain extent, she doesn't like the idea of buying on-line, so I told her to get a Fire Mountain Gems & Beads catalog, since she could order over the phone. I told her they have almost everything any one making jewelry could want.A few days after this conversation, I received FMG's latest supplemental catalog for January 2010. Well, I now have to take back the part about how they have almost everything because this vendor has official stepped into the world of metalsmithing. Yup, now FMG carries pretty much everything from pickle pots to torches. If you didn't get the latest supplement, you can see what they have under the company's new Metalsmithing section on-line.
If you did get the supplement, they there are some other interesting goodies in it:
*How to Fabricate a Sterling Silver Pendant project by Linda Brandt
*How to Use Setp Bezel Strips
*5 Ways to Boost Your Beaded Jewelry Sales by Dr. David Weiman
*Close To Your Heart wire necklace project by Tammy
Honaman
Congratulations to Fire Mountain Gems & Beads for stepping into new jewelry making territory.
