This probably isn't news to you, but copper is one of the hottest metals around these days. It looks great with just about anything, especially if you like to make jewelry that may have an ethnic flair, and it is relatively inexpensive when compared to other metals such as sterling silver or gold. Copper wire is not longer just "practice wire."Sharilyn Miller has taken up this popular metal and made some wonderful projects in her new book, Contemporary Copper Jewelry: Step-by-Step Techniques and Projects. Read my full review before you decide to buy.

I am going to have to agree with you there… Copper is hot! It is my favorite metal to combine with polymer clay. It is warm, beautiful, inexpensive, easy to work with and easy to find at the hardware store. I’ve been doing all sorts of tutorials on the the stuff cause I love it so much!
Hi Tammy,
I can’t wait to get this book. Love Sharilyn’s work and joined her group to keep up with what she is doing. One day hope to do one of her retreats. Copper is so wonderful to work with. It’s freeing because you can afford to experiment with it. Good choice to review.
