Jewelry Selling Venues on the Web

While Etsy.com is very popular with many jewelry designers I know, it is not the perfect fit for everyone. I have found it to work fine for my needs, though honestly, I don't have the time to devote to my Etsy shop or any shop for that matter. However, Etsy.com is not the only game in town when it comes to finding venues on the web to sell your finished jewelry or other jewelry related products through.

There are actually a plethora of web sites out there that cater to the crafter who wants to sell his/her wares, and I discovered an interesting list of them over at FoundHandmade.com. It includes all kinds of sites that allow people to sell items they make from the big, well-established sites like Cafe Press and Etsy.com to the newer kids on the block such as ArtFire.com. The list is organized by rankings which came from Alexa.com, and when you click on the icon for each site listed, there is detailed information about it such as the cost and services available. If you have a store already but have thought about expanding into other venues or changing or if you have never even opened a web store but want to, then you might find their list very helpful. I thought it was pretty interesting, and while I knew there were a lot of sites out there, I saw a number of sites listed I didn't know existed.
