Turkey Day Pendant/Necklace Combo

Wednesday November 19, 2008
You may have noticed I've been on an orange and earth-tone phase lately. Those colors typically come to mind for me when I'm thinking of making jewelry for the big Turkey day, aka Thanksgiving. So, this has all been a master plan of mine. For example, one of the reasons I made the bail super large on Gathering Leaf Paper Sticker Pendant is because I wanted it to fit around the necklace I made soon afterwards, the Primitive Resin Bead/Linen Necklace. This way you get more use out of both pieces. You can attach the pendant to other beaded necklaces, and when you don't want to wear it at all, you can easily take it off the resin necklace I made to match it.

I know many of us won't have a lot of time to play with our jewelry goodies right before the big day is here, but I think I have at least one or maybe two more projects in me that I can get out before then.

Tammy that is absolutely gorgeous! I have one question though. Where would one get a chip board leaf pendant? I would really like to make one to wear for that very special day.

I got mine in the scrapbooking area of my local Michael’s craft store. There were a number of chipboard stickers that came together in the package for just a few dollars.
