Resin Jewelry Experiment a Success!

Monday September 29, 2008
Okay, resin is now, officially, my new love! It is so much fun, and while I can say that my new Halloween cabs aren't 100 percent perfect, considering my very short time playing with resin, I'm amazed at how well they turned out.

I have some more resin project ideas rolling around in the old noggin' so keep an eye for more as well as web resources and tips. As I learn and experiment, I'm adding to my list of tips as well as do's and don'ts.

From the comments I've been getting on this blog and via email, it looks like I've inspired a few others to get into resin as well, so I look forward to hearing how your own experiments work out.

Those are really cute, Tammy! You could decoupage some funky paper behind them too. I see a charm bracelet in your future, no? Hugs from Indiana!

Brilliant idea. I was thinking of putting decorative paper in the resin, but I like your idea better.
