Jewelry Business Advice on the Forum

Wednesday September 10, 2008
There are a number of interesting posts lately on the Jewelry Making Forum related to earning an income with your jewelry:

What happens when a store you sell your jewelry at goes under? What should you do if you hear rumors about that happening?

A jewelry designer who is getting ready for some shows is curious how well others are doing now as far as sales.

New to selling her jewelry, a designer asks how others figure out what to sell and make for their inventory.

After opening a new Etsy shop, a member would like to get some feedback. What do you like or don't link about her set up over there?

Getting free press is always great, and one member is telling us about some of her latest web press featuring her jewelry designs.

Is Craigslist a good place to use for promoting and/or selling your jewelry? A member would like to know what you think.

Hi Tammy,

As we are heading into recession, how would you advise people to advertise their business? Should we look at local print media or concentrate on online adverts?
