If you are totally freaked about trying metal clay, then do not fear because I have two great projects for you that are super easy and are a great way to try out metal clay without investing a ton of time and money.First, follow my tutorial for making a really easy metal clay charm: Silver Metal Clay Heart Charms. You only need a tiny amount of clay for this project, so the smallest package which I think is about 6 grams, will be more than enough.
Once you make a few of these heart charms, you can turn them into some stunning earrings with the Queen of Hearts Metal Clay and Crystal Earrings project. Other than waiting for the clay to dry, these two projects take very little time, and anyone with a small amount of jewelry making experience will be able to complete them pretty quickly and easily.

Hi Tammy! How did you know we were scared?! You were right! This is a great article and wonderful photos, very easy to understand and follow. You are always so honest about your experiences which is so helpful. By the way, congratulations on your book, I need to get out to Amazon and order it now that I think I could do that! Take care!
Thank you, Lisa. Honestly, as long as you keep the components on the small side, you will be amazed at what you can do with the low fire clay. Let me know how it goes if you do try it out.
