To Tassel or Not to Tassel

Friday May 30, 2008
Long beaded necklaces look great with or without a tassel, and with these two project you have your choice of going either way.

With the Tassel Necklace design, I combine seed beads along with gemstones and glass beads. Don't worry if you aren't a bead weaver either because the seed beads are used with more of a regular stringing technique. They are a nice way to add a large variation in color.

If you'd like a long beaded necklace but aren't all that interested in the tassel look, you can use a similar approach and combine seed beads and glass beads for my No Tassel Necklace design.

To tassel or not to tassel? It's up to you.
