Low on Snark, High on Jewelry Info

Thursday February 21, 2008
There is a very active community jewelry making related forum connected to this web site. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it is probably one of the top jewelry making forums on the Internet. Why? First, like this site, it's been around for almost ten years. But, more so, the members there are giving and knowledgeable. Snarkiness is always at a low and sharing is always on the high side. Here are some of the discussions going on right now:

A fairly new jewelry maker is asking about leather cording and how to get rid of bend in it.

Sond has purchased a light box for taking jewelry photographs but now has questions concerning how to set up the jewelry inside of it.

Another question concerns making metal beads, and not necessarily from metal clay.

A newbie has a bracelet blank but isn't sure what type of metal it is made out of.

Laurel is having torch problems and isn't sure what the problem could be.
