Go for Gold with Metal Clay

Thursday January 10, 2008
I am a fan of two tone metal jewelry. In fact, I finally broke down and bought myself a two tone watch so I could mix up my silver, gold, and platinum jewelry. If you also like the two tone look, then metal clay is one option for you when it comes to mixing metals. You can, of course, use gold clay and silver clay together, or another option is to use gold findings with the clay like these new 2mm 24kt gold balls just introduced by Metal Clay Findings. An added bonus with this method is no fire scale to deal with afterwards.

With the outrageous cost of gold right now, little bits added here and there can go a long way in a jewelry design, so that's one reason this new product caught my eye.
